Returned To Grass

Can you believe this is the same patch of ground just six months apart?

“Worryingly, a small forest of self-seeded blue gums had begun establishing itself on my hillside paddock. Kim and Terry and the MeriCrusher made quick, clean work of it, incorporating the 50 or so trees back into the soil.”

Jan Higginson, Property Owner at Kindred.

Our task was to get rid of some tress and return the ground to grass. The catch was to make sure they never came back again. Our solution was to use our Mericrusher.

By the end of the day the trees that were standing were but mulch in the ground. A spectacular result. You can’t see it in the picture, but we also planted some grass over the area.

We return again this year to see how the job had gone.

We and the owners couldn’t have been happier with the result.

How does it do this?

A MeriCrusher is made to chip up material above and below the ground. So, we mulched up the leaves, boughs, stumps and roots spreading the material around and mixing it up with the dirt. Because we get the roots and upset the system the chances of the trees growing back is virtually non-existent.
